Skincare doesn’t have to be complicated
Between 10-step routines and overwhelming product launches, it’s easy to feel lost. But healthy skin starts with simplicity and consistency. Here's how to build a routine that works — and sticks.
Step 1: Cleanse (but don’t strip)
Find a gentle cleanser that removes dirt and oil without drying out your skin. Look for something sulfate-free with a low pH. Cleansing twice a day is ideal, especially at night to remove sunscreen or makeup.
Step 2: Moisturize (morning and night)
Hydration is the cornerstone of good skin. Even oily skin types need moisture. Choose a lightweight formula for daytime and something more nourishing at night if needed.
Pro tip: Apply while your skin is still damp to lock in hydration.
Step 3: SPF is your ride-or-die
If you only add one product to your routine, let it be sunscreen. Daily SPF protects your skin from UV damage, premature aging, and uneven tone. Make it a non-negotiable, even on cloudy days.
Optional (but great): Add one active
Once your routine is solid, you can introduce a targeted treatment like Vitamin C (for glow), Niacinamide (for texture), or a gentle exfoliant. But start slow and patch test.
Keep it consistent
The secret to great skin? Time. Your skin takes weeks to respond, not days. So stay the course and don’t change products too quickly.
